- On September 30, 1990, I received a call from home (Miami Florida) telling me that my brother had been shot. He died that night. The memory of him laying in the coffin will never leave my mind. They used some type of paint to try and cover the hole in his head.

- As a survivor of child abuse and from experience, I can tell you that the mother knew and other people knew as well. Every victim that I have spoken to always said the same thing. My mother knew, my father knew and other adults knew.

- When my son was in Cub Scouts, there was a little boy in the group who my son could not stand. I believe that my son was a little envious. Every opportunity he got to mistreat Christopher, he did. My son did not realize that if he applied himself, he could make better grades than Christopher.

- Jeez, I can remember seeing my dad two or three times in my life. My mother was abusive but, I did not let that stop me. I finish high school, joined the army and saved for college. I have a double major (Business Administration and Legal Studies). I worked for twenty-three long years.
